Birmingham Hopewell Alliance

Kim Horne joined the BHA board as Secretary in the fall of 2004. Kim and her husband, Mike, have lived in North Fulton since 1985. The Hornes were one of the first homeowner's in Richmond Glen in 1998, moving from Roswell, and have been instrumental in the creation and ongoing operation of their Homeowner’s Association. Mike serves as the HOA President. Kim and Mike have four children - Emily at Milton High School, Courtney at Northwestern Middle School, Jennifer and Daniel at Summit Hill Elementary.

Kim graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in Political Science. As secretary of the Alliance, Kim utilizes her organizational skills from 11 years with MCI Telecommunications in Sales and Marketing. Kim has been active in multiple land use issues and currently serves as a member of the Birmingham Crossroads Development Committee as a representative for the BHA. Kim also serves on Commissioner Handel’s North Fulton Leaders steering committee. In addition to raising a family and serving as the BHA Secretary, Kim is a member of both the Summit Hill & Northwestern PTA boards as well as an active member of St. Peter Chanel Catholic church.
